Twist out using perm rod

This past winter I tried a twist out using perm rods and this was the result, I really liked the results, but I must admit by the end of day the curls decided to leave. I would love to try this look again, any suggestions on how to keep the curls? Have you tried this style before? If so what were your results?

Going Natural With YouTube

I can not begin to explain my love for YouTube, and how it changed my life. Three years ago I would rarely visit YouTube unless someone suggested I watch a funny video, but after being frustrated by another failed natural hair style one evening, I took my frustration to the computer and decided to check out YouTube. What I found not only encouraged me to continue my journey, but educated me on how to maintain my natural hair texture. After 5 hours, and several questions from my husband inquiring about what the heck I was watching, I stumbled across the following channels and got hooked y'all. When I hear a natural hair conversation, I can't help but ear hustle y'all. I get excited when I hear the conversation happening, and depending on the situation, I may even put my 2 cents in. It seems every where I go I'm seeing more and more ladies going natural, and talking about it.

I've been natural for almost 3 years, first 2 were learning experiences (bad color, breakage, dry hair, and diagnosed with hand eczema). This year by far has been the best, I've learned new techniques, created concoctions my entire family can use and saved tons of money. I'm amazed at how many of the products we use have several uses.
